NID Vijayawada offers admission to B.Des programme based on NID DAT scores. The authorities will announce the DAT prelims results for admissions on March 28, 2024.
National Institute of Design Vijayawada was established in September 2015. Located at Guntur - Vijayawada Highway, Andhra Pradesh, National Institute of Design, National Institute of Design is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
NID Vijayawada provides admission in Graduate programmes in Design with different specialisations Industrial Design, Communication Design, Textile & Apparel Design. For admission, students have to take the Design Aptitude Test(DAT), a common entrance exam for design students. The present intake for the program is 60. The campus of NID Vijayawada is rich in many modern facilities like Textile and Apparel studios, Visual Communication studios, Knowledge Management Centre (KMC), 3D printing Labs, IT labs, Prototype, Ceramics and Industrial design studios. The residential facility at the campus is provided to students including a 24/7 medical facility, Post Office, ATM, and doctor on call.
National Institute of Design (NID) has come out with the DAT Mains 2025 M.Des admit card on February 22, 2025. One can download it from admissions.nid.edu by entering the registered email and date of birth. The M.Des DAT Mains examination will be conducted between March 3 and April 6, 2025, while B.Des examinations will be conducted from April 26 to May 4, 2025.
The NID M.Des DAT Mains 2025 admit card will go live on February 24, 2025, at 4:00 PM on admissions.nid.edu and nid.edu. The exams will be held between March 3 to April 6, 2025. Candidates should download their hall tickets through the registered email ID and DOB. Results in May 2025 and thereafter counseling is on the cards.
NID DAT 2025 Exam Date: January 5, 2025 The exam will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM in offline mode across 22 cities. Report by 8 AM with printed admit card and valid photo ID. Gates will close at 9:30 AM. Mobile phones, watches, and bags are not allowed, but stationery and colors used for the test are permitted.
